Courgenay
On the 7th of November 2011, the Swiss Orchid Foundation went a work trip with the gardeners apprenticeship of the Basel Vocational School. The work trip was under the direction of Andreas and Lukretia Wyss.
In the biotope visited, there are about ten different species of orchids and over 100 different flowering plants.
Together with 25 students and advisors, within a day we have cleared about a hectare of preserved natural habitat from overgrowing bushes. Some students have worked with brushcutters. The other students have cleaned out with a slope overgrown with bushes using hand saws and loppers.
